Valley of the Waves
This is one of Sun City's most popular attractions. One of the most advanced water parks in the world with a mechanically generated water pool that generates 1.8m waves every 90 seconds. It is a great facility for family holidays, as it accommodates the daring spirit of adventure for all ages.

The Valley of Waves links The Palace of the Lost City Hotel to the Entertainment Centre in Sun City. Valley of Waves incorporates 22 different regions of vegetation, from a rocky outcrop of ancient baobab trees, to a lush, tropical jungle.

 

Walkers are enticed to the Waterscape, a huge arrangement of interlinked pools, a kilometre of low weirs and two kilometres of walkways that lead through gardens and over, and under rock formations. Among the Waterscape's permanent residents are swans, herons, and the rare South African black duck.

There is a designated children area to keep the parents' minds at ease. For smaller children, a sparkling pool with slides, central rock and spouting water features is ideal. Life guards are on duty daily. The Royal bath swimming pool besides the Amphitheatre offers a place to soak up some warm sun rays. The Lazy River offers a gentle continuous tube ride around the Island.

 

Observatory bar on the deck offers exciting cocktails and drinks. Life jackets and umbrellas can be hired at a refundable rate. Bring your swim suits, towels etc.
